A LOCAL LAW
Amending the Code of the County of Putnam by adding a new Article II to Chapter 95 Entitled āGRANTING AND REQUESTING AIDā in its entirety which was adopted by the Putnam County Legislature on April 5, 2022, by Resolution #64.
This Local Law Amends the Code of Putnam County by adding a new Article II to Chapter 95 entitled āGRANTING AN REQUESTING AIDā, thus authorizing the County Executive to grant authority to the Putnam County Sheriff to grant or request police aid from another municipality as outlined in the General Municipal Law. Such grant of authority may be revoked at any time.
