As newly elected to the Legislature in 2013, I have served seven years on the Patterson Town Board and six years on the Patterson Zoning Board of Appeals. I pride myself in being a dedicated and tenacious public servant with an independent voice and a genuine passion for the people.
In 1988, my husband and I chose Patterson to buy our home and raise our family. Putnam County offered superior schools, open space and a good quality of life. Ensuring that our families continue to call Putnam home is the ultimate mandate of our government. That means holding the line on taxes, curbing spending and encouraging smart growth to help strengthen our local economy. In addition, fighting Federal and State mandates, advocating for sensible shared services, enhanced programs and services for our senior citizens and preserving Open Space is paramount to ensure we continue to enjoy the quality of life we all cherish.
As your Legislator, I intend to collaborate with my colleagues on the Legislature and interface with the Administration and Department Heads to address relevant issues effectively and efficiently. I will foster and maintain open communication with Patterson Town Officials to ensure residents are well-served.
